For chefs by chefs, served up in Falcon Enamelware. Cook camp, an invite only summer camp for nearly 200 chefs, restaurateurs and cookbook authors hosted by Ellen Marie Bennet. In Cook camps own words: to fill the cup of the people who fill everyone else’s cup all year round.
Hosted in LA by Ellen Marie Bennett of Hedley & Bennett it was a day filled with movement, art, hands-on activities, friendly competition and good food.
A breakfast of beautiful pastries from Petitgrain Boulangerie, Bagels by Murrays Bagels and Canyon Coffee provided the fuel. Renowned Mini Kabob served up an Armenian feast for lunch.
Activities included learning how to blend Vermouth alongside Scribe winery, to painting a huge mural with LA artist Charlie Edmiston. Guests also got a chance to try tie-dying Hedley and Bennet aprons beneath 100-year-old oak trees. The day was all about getting hands-on, trying something new and having a little fun outside the kitchen.
The evening meal was served up by Haute Chefs almost entirely on Falcon Enamelware, the perfect outdoor companion, with Ora King Salmon and West Holm Wagyu taking centre stage.
